Project: Re-Engineer an Enterprise SQL Reporting Application
Client: Confidential
Demo URL: Project unavailable to the general public.
Description: Large SQL (SSRS) reporting application using C#, HTML, CSS, jQuery, ASP.NET, .NET Ajax, JSON, SQL, and SSRS. The client had multiple database with terabytes of data. Redesigned the web UI with lots of jQuery and AJAX.NET, converted the site to be more object-oriented; lots of SQL development. The SQL development included creating some new reports, dynamic charting, and converting some very complex queries to stored procedures. Also included database tuning and performance optimization as well as writing some WCF services.

Senior developer responsible for day-to-day web development operations for Atkins Nutritionals’ high-profile website Atkins.com and all affiliate sites. Manages small team of developers currently working on a number of enhancements and additional tools. Architect of in-house content management system, site infrastructure and security, and a number of web development business processes and procedures. Collaborates closely with Marketing staff and graphic designers about web development needs. Also member of the development team responsible for development assignments including my own. Site welcomes over 12 million visitors a year.

Managed the web application conversion from Java to .NET. Developed and implemented an in-house content management system, including an administrative portal for automating nearly three dozen business processes. This system processes in excess of 100,000 new students annually and distributed over $330 million in stipends last fiscal year.

Developed flagship e-magazine, Annuity Super Producer. Annuity Super Producer is emailed to at least 250,000 advisors on a weekly basis. Responsible for design, development, programming, and testing.
