Diving into SharePoint 2010 Branding – Online Resources

It’s been two weeks now since I dived into SharePoint branding. In an effort to ramp up on SharePoint, I found a number of really helpful online resources to help me get going. One such site is at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/hh126807 which hosts 15 self-paced modules along with corresponding downloadable materials. Here is an excerpt:

This course describes how to implement and brand a SharePoint based public website using SharePoint web content management (WCM). After the course is completed, you may be able to implement a SharePoint deployment of a branded website with structured content management. You may also be able to successfully plan, deploy, monitor, and maintain an Internet site. No development experience is required, but experience with HTML and CSS is recommended.

For anyone getting into SharePoint branding for Internet sites, this is a great place to start.
